Felice Willat is an award-winning travel photographer and publisher, whose images from Burma, Morocco, and Argentina, among other locales, capture the beauty of the human landscape across cultures. Felice’s photographs have been exhibited at the TAG Gallery (Bergamot Station, Santa Monica, CA), the Brand Library (Glendale, CA), and numerous other venues in southern California. Her work is also regularly exhibited at the Topanga Canyon Gallery (Topanga, CA) and Very Venice Art & Design (Venice, CA). In 2010, Felice won First Prize (Travel) and an Honorable Mention in the Southern California Council of Camera Clubs’ annual juried exhibition. And, in 2008, she was one of four winners of the SLH International Photo Contest. Felice has published one book of her photos from Burma, entitled The Quiet Between, Song of Burma (2009).

Before turning to photography full-time, Felice Willat co-founded Day Runner, Inc., producers of the popular Day Runner personal organizer, which became the time management choice of millions for getting things done. After thirty years of juggling the rapid growth of a successful corporation, a family of five, and a budding new business, Felice needed to find creative expression. The camera provided a sense of time expansion and stillness. She says, “I could capture a moment, something sacred or commonplace, an unconscious gesture, a tattered clothesline, a red plastic pitcher, or a worn prayer book. I left the familiar, traveled to far-away places, and found the gift of really being present.”
